American buttercream frosting (aka AMBC Frosting) is the easiest frosting to make, and goes well on cakes and cupcakes.
Tip: If the frosting is too thick, add 1 tbsp of milk at a time to thin it out. If the frosting is too thin, add 1/4 cup of powder sugar at a time to thicken it.
